Candidate profile:

• Good level in spoken and some written English is essential. Spanish would be an advantage.

 

Main duties:

RECEPTION OF GOODS

• Off loading of pallets from delivery vehicles

• Checking goods received and signing the correct paperwork

• Placing of pallets in the correct warehouse area: ambience, chilled, frozen; this making sure that proper first in first out practice is adhered to and in a way to facilitate stock counting

 

PREPARATION OF SALES ORDERS

• Picking of customers’ orders. This with extreme care to make sure that the correct product, the correct unit and the correct quantity is picked.

• Also, weighting those products that require so doing and writing down the correct weight on the documentation.

• Producing and adhering the labels on the cases.

• Consolidating the pallets for orders delivered by outside transport agents.

 

LOADING VANS OR OTHER DELIVERY VEHICLES

• Loading and/or helping to load our delivery vans checking and making sure that the correct goods are loaded in the correct order for the driver to easily find them when delivering.

 

ADDITIONAL GENERAL TASKS

• Checking, monitoring and recording the temperatures of the different fridges and freezers with the frequency required by management.

• Cleaning the different warehouses, managing the packing materials received with goods, managing pallets, rubbish bins, etc.

• Locking shutters, closing freezers and fridges doors when not in use, turning lights off when not required.

 

DUTIES AS A DRIVER

• Be able to do deliveries with the spare van when required,
